Oh, the Hue-Manatee!

My daughter Rachel Jaggers, Spotted Pepper Designs, is a great textile and surface pattern designer. She recently had one of her prints published on Bucketfeet shoes. I believe she is ending up being one of Bucketfeet's best sellers. I finally received my shoes the other day. LOVE THEM! and proud of the budding artist that she is becoming!!

The Colorful Cook! -- a new spring apron!

I decided to try another apron and satisfied with the results. The style is easy-to-make but I think the greatest feature is the bright, solid-colored fabrics with less-than-obvious color combinations!

Fall 2013 International Quilt Market Release! for Houston, TX!

Notice, it is release, not release'S'! Only finished one pattern this fall but we think it's a doozy! We took some 600 shots of my granddaughter to get one where she was:
        
       1) Holding still, maybe looking at the camera!
       2) Smiling, at least a little!
       3) The bib looks okay! 

Eighteen months old - she eventually pulled it off! It's called "Pretty in Bibs!" (P203)
