Sample the perfect DIY holiday gift for neighbors!

Not just neighbors, but everyone loves treats for the holidays. But my goodness, they come all at once! Gift Mixes solves that issue. A treat that can be given during the holiday season-of-giving but cooked at the convenience of the recipient, maybe several weeks later when wishing for one more treat because all the rest are gone! What a great idea!

Just to tempt you with a sample of deliciousness, we have a freeby of two dry mix recipes here, expires Nov 19, 2018.

If you love the samples, the whole pattern 'Gift Mixes' instructs how to make the fabric bags with bag toppers and/or tags.

Gift Mixes! [Make a mix -- in a bag]!!

These 'make-a-mix' projects (P205) were a huge hit at Market. Why not - you are combining fabric, goodies, and gifting all in one project. The pattern has three make-a-mixes with bag toppers and/or recipe cards, along with four bag styles. But there is an address inside for five more make-a-mixes (well, one is s'mores). The original three bag toppers/recipe cards are also on the download so you can have a digital version.

Use fabulous fabrics for specialized gift bags. Awesome!!

Food, Fabric, and Gifting -- It Can't Get Better!

So what is better than Fabric and Food and Gifts! NOTHING! So mix them together and you have our new pattern called Gift Mixes (P205).
I made tons of these little bags. So many options - so many recipes! Thousands of combinations - well, ultimately!

So here's the deal: make the fabric bag of your choice, decide what mix you want to use. There are three 'make-a-mix' recipes in the pattern with accompanied bag topper and/or card. And seven more 'make-a-mix' recipes with accompanied bag topper and/or card  -- you can find them online with the address that is in the pattern. (Even the mixes in the hard copy pattern have the bag topper and/or card online - so you can print them on card stock on a home printer!). The bag topper and/or card has the instructions for your recipient to make the mix into goodies!

These are the three 'make-a-mixes' that are in the pattern. Btw, it is my "Killer Chocolate Chip Cookie" recipe. Really good!
Stay tuned for the other 'make-a-mix' titles. And another pic soon -- of some very cool fabric I found for chocolate chips cookies and ........ my favorite gift bag of all!

Making Christmas gifts - such a great sentiment!

This ensemble is called 'My Other Kitchen' (P157). Great for Christmas gifts. Apron (reversible), dish towel, food gift bag white chocolate chip scone mix, oven mitt, wall pocket hanger, and placemat with napkin. The scone mix is my favorite item. Make the mix (uses white chocolate chips from the grocery store)  --  put the mix in a plastic bag, then place in the fabric gift bag. The topper template comes with the pattern; make a copy. The instructions for putting in the egg, etc is on the back of the topper. Add a spoon or gift card!
It is a great gift for neighbors at Christmas.

Made up in blues - the favorite color of most people.

It is always fun to see a project made up in another fabric.

Time to make Christmas gifts!

We loved this ensemble of Christmas gifts  -- an apron, a gift food bag, and an oven mitt. Named 'Not Just for Christmas' (P173) because you could make them any time of year.
A Christmas version of Four Corners!

Mix and recipe is for Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Very easy to make! Just think how cute, a Cookie Mix with matching oven mitt.
